I have always been interested in the natural environment. I studied a masters in marine environmental management and have spent the last 7 years working in conservation and marine protection roles. From a scientific perspective, I love that we are able to learn from art through recreating the details, colour and form of different species. But I also love working from nature because there is something meditative and instantly calming for me about it, and there is beauty in it all.
